At the edge of northeast Malia, the archeological site stands with its beauty and greatness. Since the Minoan age, the Palace of king Minoas has proudly demonstrated its mark around the world and was also certified recently as a recognized monument by UNESCO.
Thought the years, Sirens Beach & Village showed their support by contributing to its maintenance while at the same time providing employees for the construction of its inside display in a well-maintained building inside the area.
The archeological site of Malia hosted their biggest event of the year, 28/08/2026, with a live concert inside the Palace under the beauty of a full blood moon.
Sirens Beach & Village contributes to the funding, together with the “Choir of Malia” of which some of our staff are members of.

Our responsibility for the safety of our guests and staff is at the one of our top goals. On 25/08/2026, together with a safety consultant from H.S.W.C. safety and evacuation drills were held, teaching staff the importance of a swift and organized response to every emergency situation.

With the desire to ensure the safety of our staff and guests from daily endeavors, we, with the help of Health & Safety Wellbeing Consulting (H.S.W.C.), hosted 3 days of seminars on Basic Life Support.
From 19/08/2026 till 21/08/2026 more than 50% of our team, from all departments, trained with a member of the H.S.W.C. team.
The theory was put into practice to develop confidence in how to respond in emergency situations.

At Sirens Beach & Village we recognize importance of health. To that end, a certified doctor visits our hotel daily from local Cretan Midicare center to tend to any health issues guests may have.

Sirens Beach & Village is committed to the protection of its coastline and sea. Since 2018 we have proudly displayed our commitment to the environment with the Blue Flag award. Our willingness to keep our beach and coastline clean not only involves our staff, but also our guests play a large role in our projects, rewards and philosophy.
During the season we hold the CLEAN UP THE MED activity.
Together, with our colorful fishing nets, we head along the beach and remove as much plastic and other rubbish people have left from the sand and shoreline.
