Sound Environmental Management

• Sound environmental management and environmental protection are fundamental objectives of SIRENS HOTELS BEACH AND VILLAGE.

• The adoption and implementation of an Environmental Management System in accordance with the international standard EN ISO 14001:2015, combined with the active involvement of employees, partners, and especially guests, as well as teamwork and the cultivation of an appropriate environmental management culture, contribute to achieving the environmental objectives of SIRENS HOTELS BEACH AND VILLAGE, both today and in the future.

WHAT CAN WE DO?

We kindly encourage you to:

• Close the window(s) when the heating or air conditioning system is in operation.

• Turn off the lights when leaving the room.

• Bed linen and towels are changed daily. However, in the context of water and energy conservation and in accordance with the Hotel’s Environmental Policy, we kindly ask you to actively participate in this process. If you wish your linen to be changed, please place the special card on the bed and leave the towels on the floor.

• Avoid disposing of substances (e.g., fats/oils and toxic liquid waste) that may hinder the proper and efficient operation of the hotel’s wastewater biological treatment plant.

• Separate your waste and place recyclable materials (glass, paper, aluminium, plastic) in the designated recycling bins located in the hotel’s common areas.

• If you are in possession of hazardous waste (printer toner cartridges, ink cartridges, batteries, energy-saving lamps, pharmaceutical products, or electrical appliances), please inform the Hotel Reception, which will ensure their proper collection and disposal.

• While brushing your teeth or taking a shower, do not let water run unnecessarily. Fill a glass with water, turn off the tap, and rinse.

• Do not use more bed linen, blankets, or towels than you actually need.

• Electrical and electronic equipment should not be left in standby mode when not in use; it should be completely switched off. Unplug electrical devices when possible.

• Choose public transportation for your travel and local movements whenever possible.

• Please inform the Hotel Reception immediately so that we can repair leaking taps or water pipes.

• Smoking is not permitted inside the rooms. Please smoke only on the balcony or terrace.
